RootEd Expression of Interest
The South Shore Regional Centre for Education (51³Ô¹Ï) and Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) is developing a not-for-profit board called RootED in order to help build a sustainable organizational model that inspires our communities by creating a positive school food culture where all students have access to healthy, delicious, locally sourced food.
This volunteer board will work in partnership with 51³Ô¹Ï and NSHA partners to ensure all students have access to healthy food, to participate in grant writing and visioning of a culture of health and wellness through food and education for the students of 51³Ô¹Ï.
